December holiday Schedule 2009
Band schedule is out on LMS!
Fall In will be at the start of every practice

Open House 2009
Open house performance is tomorrow and on thursday as well!
Band members, please report to the music room once your attendance has been marked by your teachers!
If possible, arrive earlier to move the Benches and everything.
Committee members, please arrive at 6.45 to help to move some items.rest early tonight!
oh and on a lighter note, jiayou Sec fours for your O levels!

Band practice will resume on WEDNESDAY, 14/10/09.
there will be full band practice until 5 pm and fall in will be at 2.30pm.
from 5pm - 6pm, the woodwinds will do stock checking. Brasses are allowed to leave at 5 for more practice at home.
Everyone is to leave at 6.15 SHARP on wednesday. no one is supposed to stay later than that.
Following practice will be on Friday, 16/10/09.
Fall in will be at 1.00pm.
There will be Sectionals for everybody from 1.30 to 3pm and stock checking for brasses and percussion from 3pm-4pm.
If possible, please bring home your instruments to practice after stock checking as we will be having some performances the following week.
Be sure to check your attire and fingernails especially. otherwise it will result in fining by the wardrobe masters.

There will be a CCA presentation at Ang Mo Kio Primary on 22/10 and and 02/11.
The band will be going together with the Choir and Modern Dance respectively.
The format will be the same as the previous year, further details will posted up on a later date.
Please inform all members about this.

September Holidays Schedule
Band practices during the September school holidays are as follows:
Tuesday: 2pm -5.30pm
Thursday: 1pm - 5.30pm
Friday(combined practice with Huayi) : 9am - 5pm
Please reach school at least 15 minutes earlier to set up your instruments so that we can start practice on time, and inform your parents about the schedule once you have seen this.

Sectional Leaders and Instrumental Workshop
Venue: ACS(I)
Time to meet:
7.50amMeeting venue: Void deck of Blk 249 (the block facing the coffee shop opposite the main gate)
Attire: Band tee + bottoms
SL course: 9am-4pm
Instrumental course: 9am-12pm
Bring: Instrument, accessories,
writing material (woodwinds and brasses)
Drumsticks, mallets, auxiliary percussion instruments, accessories,
writing material (percussion)
(Please bring along your tuner if you have one at home)
Note: Everyone is responsible for your own instrument and belongings, so please take good care of the items that you are bringing along.you are advised not to bring along any jewellery or electronic equipment as the organisers and their personnel will not be responsible for the loss of any of such items.
Those participating in the SL course, please bring along some cash for lunch there.
Last but not least,
PLEASE BE PUNCTUAL No transport back is provided, so please make arrangements if needed, otherwise you can take the MRT back. The nearest station would be Buona Vista
please make sure that you are properly groomed for the course too.
