Briefing for March holiday practice. Band members please take good care of yourself and drink a lot of water(it's good). And you will have to bring some money for lunch every practice. No matter how exhausted you are, please hold on. We have 26days left. Even if we are running out of time, believe . It will make a difference. Everyone must work together as a band because we are a band. Mr Ng Hoe speaked to the whole band, even though I'm busying around, I caught an important point he mentioned. In the end, after the syf, you don't need to cry. Because you will know that you did your best. And the medal is not everything. It's how much you worked, how hard you worked. And, most importantly, as a band. Oh and cry! Cry of happiness!:D

Anyway, please give your best for this 26days. I don't care how slacked you were before or if you slacked it away, make full use of the remaining days and perfect the songs!

I actually think you sound nice. I really do. When I was talking to teacher about the holiday schedule, the band was playing in the request of Mr Ng Hoe and, you sound nice.

It's a waste if we didn't make it just because our morale is low. Accept praises and know you can do it. Oh and ex seniors please try to make a trip down if you have time to help us and support us. (:

Important note:

The Concert Band CCA Break (1/11-15/11)

has been arranged to coincide with the O-Level Examination period.

All Sec 1 and 2 members are encouraged to go for their holidays with their families during this break, while Sec 3 members focus on their Prep Programme.

Intensive practices will commence after O-Level Examinations.

2 Important point:

During the Break, members can still arrange for non-compulsory sectional practices with sectional tutors. It will be students initiated according to sectional needs.
Members who cannot attend any of the compulsory sessions listed due to illness must provide Medical Leave with parent's/guardian's letter of explanation. For members who really need to travel overseas that cannot be rearranged should apply for leave using the Concert Band Leave Application Form and submit to Ms Jean Mok before 4th November 2010(Thursday) . Upon return from overseas, a photocopy of their passport entry must be submitted as proof of travel.

All members are required to strictly adhere to the given schedule.

We appreciate the cooperation of all members and the support from their parents and guardians.

Let's work together to achieve the best in your academic results as well as your musical pursuits with the Concert Band.

The schedule is subjected to change however we will give prior notice on this website.

We will update the days and time for the respective sections for the non-compulsory sectional practices with sectional tutors once confirmed.

Hello

People, our June holiday practices have officially ended.
The total of 9 practices if you didn't realise.

And I'm glad to say that more than half of our band members have
perfect attendance=went for all 9 practices.

Your commitment are greatly appreaciated.

As for the rest, you know for yourself.
The least you could do is to be present!

I would like to praise our dearest :

French horn section . Trombone section .

The whole section had the best perfect attendance.

Please do not say that because they are a small section that's why.
What I see is how they can be so committed as a section.
I never have to worry about this two section's attendance.
I am really proud of you guys.

However, I can't deny the fact that other section had tried their very best.
It may just be that one or two members who had pulled the whole section down.

All you have to do now is to get the whole section to be bonded and have that perfect attendance together.

Last but not least, thank you ! to those who really put in the effort.

Members must bring their water bottles and should always hydrate themselves by drinking lots of plain water.
We will not be providing any cold sweet drinks throughout the camp. We will not stop members from paying for their own cold sweet drinks but would like to advise all to exercise some self-discipline to save money and preserve your health. No member is allowed to leave the school grounds for any such purchases unless permission is received from Ms Mok or Ms Goh.
