CHRISTMAS HARMONY at the BOTANICAL GARDENS
21 Dec 2008 - 6 pm Shaw Foundation Stage by SINGAPORE WIND SYMPHONY.

ABOUT THE CONCERT
Concert will feature not only symphonic arrangements of Christmas music , but also familiar favourties from composers such as George Gershwin, Tchaiskovsky , Handel. SWS is also honoured to have The Santa Maria Choir to perform with SWS in this concert.

The repertoire will consist of :

Band camp consent form...

Dear band members, please indicate what diet you're on. (NOT SLIMMING DIET)

Example, if you eat normal dishes, please indicate at the blank box on the form that your diet is "NORMAL".
If you only eat muslim dishes, please indicate that your diet as "MUSLIM/HALAL"
If you're a vegetarian, please indicate your diet as "VEGETARIAN"

However, if you're NONE OF THE ABOVE, please indicate "OTHERS(state)".

Please also indicate dishes that you cannot eat, or allergic to, like "ALLERGIC TO PRAWNS/SEAFOOD/RICE/CORN/PEA/ETC". It's an example.

Thank you and please remember to hand it up on Wednesday to either Yi Lian (brasses) or Sheena (woodwind).

Dear band members, there's no sectionals tomorrow as all the teachers-in-charge are all away for staff retreat. However, the Japs are visiting our school tomorrow and band members are required to report at 7.45am outside the council room in your full school uniform. Please bring along your ties too. The whole program will end around 1pm. Our job is to interact with those pretty and handsome. They're from senior high school btw. ^^ Be punctual!

Please note that BAND CAMP is already fixed from the 20th Nov 2008 ~ 22th Nov 2008. (Just in case no one know about it.) Please make yourself free on these three days.

There will also be a stock-checking session on this coming Wednesday (12/11). ALL QUARTERMASTERS, WARDROBE MASTERS, LIBRARIANS AND MAJORS ARE REQUIRED TO COME. THIS INCLUDES ALL SECONDARY ONE COMMITTEE MEMBERS IN THE DEPARTMENTS LISTED. Please report at 10 AM SHARP.

BAND PRACTICE ON FRIDAY (7/11)

Dear band members, there is an addition of BAND PRACTICE on this friday, 7/11, and it STARTS AT 1030h. (ENDING TIME IS NOT CONFIRMED)

All section leaders are to spread this message to their respective sections. And like what i've mentioned in the previous entry, please inform your section leaders if you are unable to attend this practice this friday. Please note that practice is as CANCELLED on Saturday. THERE IS NO STOCK CHECKING AS IT SHIFTED TO TUESDAY.

Also, the NCO passing out parade is this FRIDAY (7/11), and the starting time is 1830h. For those who wish to come and watch our Majors perform in the passing out parade, please inform ME (Yoke Ching, HP: 90032398) by THURSDAY NIGHT (12AM). I'll give more details after i get all the names.

ALL PRACTICES ARE COMPULSORY. If you are not able to attend any practices, please inform your respective section leaders at least one practice before that. If you have fallen sick on the day of practice, please at least send an SMS to your section leader to inform them and pass your MC to the secretary. QUARTERMASTERS are required to report at least 10minutes before each practice to open the band room and store.
